Meet Dr. Joseph Manning (Knoxville, TN)

Joseph Manning, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry. He studied for his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Covenant College and the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Manning had always been interested in medicine as he was growing up. Having worn glasses, the idea of being an eye doctor appealed to him.
After graduation, Dr. Manning and his wife Ellen moved to Knoxville to establish a practice. He and Dr. Lain developed a friendship and eventually a partnership, leading to the founding of The Eye Group.
In his free time, Dr. Manning enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and children, Maggie, and Jackson.
